Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the BAScii Check-in Application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

This Service is intended solely for students, faculty, and staff of the BAScii program at Chulalongkorn University. You must hold a valid status within the university and a valid @student.chula.ac.thor @chula.ac.th email address to access the Service.

3. User Obligations

You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. Specifically, you agree NOT to:

  • Submit false attendance data or check in on behalf of another student.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures, such as geolocation checks or QR code validity.
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content within the application (e.g., profile photos).
  • Use the Service in any way that violates Thai laws, including the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560.

Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action by the University.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by the BAScii program and its developers and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors. In no event shall Chulalongkorn University be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 15 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
